The gas gage doesn't respond correctly. It just moves
to any position and I never know how much gas is in the car. I checked the fuse and there doesn't seem to be a problem there. Any advise will be appreciated.

Your sending unit needs to be replaced and that also includes your fuel pump 'cause it's all 1 unit inside your gas tank. Should cost around $500 'cause I just had mine replaced on my 1999 Blazer
