I don't think your blown bulb would drain your battery, not unless you leave the ignition on when you leave the car. The lights except for the parking lights run through the ignition switch. If the car charges all right when running then I would look at the altinator voltage regulator. When you disconnet the battery is there a spark? You can have the altinator checked out at most auto stores like auto zone. They can also check the voltage drain.

Ok, the battery goes dead every couple of days? Did this start after you installed the 1000 watt amp? If the answer is yes then the altinator might not be able to keep up enough amp to run everything without taking voltage from the battery. You can try a couple of things. First take the fuses out of the amp and radio for a couple of days to see if that is the problem. Yeh I know without music it feel weird. You can still take it to a auto store and have it checked to see if its putting out enough. They will let you know if you need a higher amp altinator. I just looked at summit racing. Com and they do have altinators that put out up to 140 amp, lets make sure it is the amp drawing down the battery first.

Somewhere in the instalation a wire is crossed to a hot wire and feeding back to the accesories. I know one wire is for the memory of the radio. Check the wires. If you have to disconnect one at a time until the other things don't come on when the wire is disconnected.

With what you told me today, that can be the drain on the battery and with you not driving it to much that would help even more. A car has to run for over 15 minutes to get the battery to charge enough for it to start when the battery is completly dead. Disconnect the battery and put it on a slow charge, this brings the condition of the battery up better than a fast charge. Still check the wires for the stereo
