We changed our heater core out and when we put the front cluster of gauges back on, the gas spindle stays in the full position. What should we try? Incidentally, when we put gas in the tank, the pump cuts off and we have to try to force gas in there- like we're topping off.

If the gauge stays on full the wire is grounded out someplace. You probably pinchedathe wire going to teh sender soyou'll have ot check your dash to see if your harnes is pinched someplace or a screw has gotten into the harness. If the tank is full you will get eh same reaction with the pump cutting off, so make ssure that's not the case because the gauge may be right.
