No, these dispalys are famous for this problem. There is a diode on the circuit board that has gone bad. When it's cold the diode makes a connection; then, when it warms up the connection opens.
There is no way to fix this problem other than replacing the entire display. You can find good deals for these displays on ebay. Good luck
