1998 Chevy Blazer Service Engine Soon Light

Went to Auto Zone to check and they said it was an emissions problem, they asked me if I had recently purchased gas which I had, and they said to tighten the cap and the light would go out. This was a week ago. It has not gone out yet. Any suggestions?

If thats what they said then you must tighten the cap until it clicks several times. I would go back and tell them to do it again and get the trouble code and bring it back to us/me.
