Sometimes the truck starts right up and runs fine. This morning went to start it and nothing. I thought that the fuel pump might have went out due to weak fuel pressure. Changed it good pressure now but still does not run. It occasionally starts but doent stay running. There is no noise other than normal. Relay or brain or map sensor?

What was the fuel pressure?

The CPI is very picky on pressure. If its good then we go to the ignition system. Disconnect a plugwire or 2 and ground it to the engine, crank engine over -do you have spark?

Lets investigate the signal that the computer suppose to be getting from the ignition system without it the computer will not energize the injector.

The computer has to know the engine is turning before it gives fuel.

Could also be a valve and igntion timing problem its out of sequences.
