If your problem started after the sending unit replacement, your problem most likely is a bad pulsator. The pulsator connects the fuel pump to the sending unit and has rubber o rings in it, they are probably torn. These pulsators fail on this year blazer all the time. And if somebody replaced the sender unit without replacing the pulsator then its probably no good.
