I have a 1995 chevy blazer LT model. It idles rough when in park or drive at a complete stop. As soon as you touch the gas it smooths out except on taking off, if you give accelerate a little at a time it chugs a little bit. I am wondering if I need new spark plugs, wires, tune-up, etc. Any information on this is greatly appreciated. If at all possible could you please put in laymens terms as I am a complete novice in auto repair and function. Thank You

Check your vacuum hoses for leaks. And yes you are correct you may need plugs and wires. But first check for vacuum leaks. Check your air filter and make sure it is clean. If not, then replace it. Also your idle air control valve may need to be tested.( Its also called an iac). Another thing a throttle body cleaning cant hurt. Carbon on your throttle plate can cause a lot of drivability problems
