I just received an answer to a question I asked on here about a new TPS throwing my transmission out of whack, and reeeived an answer saying I needed to take it to the dealer and get them to reset the pms to learn Idle. At autozone, not saying they know everything, but they just said put it on, and turn it counter clock wise. Thats what I did. Did they tell me wrong, or just half the story? They were acting like it was a do it yourself repair job.

Do you have s-10 or full size? What is the engine size? V6 4.3?

Sorry, you don't need the scanner, but you need to adjust it to.85 volts or less at idle, or closed position.
