1988 Chevy Blazer Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1988 Blazer and iam having some issues. When I press down the gas it accelerates hardly at all, if I press harder it gives a jolt of acceleration then back to a VERY light acceleration. When I get to higher speeds it isnt nearly as noticable but at 40mph and less its very bad. I suspect a fuel injection issues but cant be sure. Any help?

Hi, how long since a tune-up? I have to ask? If you suspect a fuel issue, use a gage and check fuel pressure. With TBI around 10 psi. Around here some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage, if you don't have one. Any trouble codes?

A tune-up is a maintenance issue, won't hurt anything. May or may not help your issue?
