1995 Chevy Beretta My 1995 Beretta idles like its about to

I have a 1995 Beretta Z26 that idles up and down when in park (sounds like its struggling) on the road it has no power and when I come to a stop it feels like its about to stall. I smell a little burning but its not burning oil from the tail pipe. Im not sure what it can be.

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure or for vacuum leaks? Also, the lack of power always makes me think of the catylatic converter. Have you checked that to make sure it isn't plugged?
