Heater problem

What would cause the motor not to work? The resistor?

Welcome to the forum, did you check for voltage and ground at the blower motor connector, hvac turned on, key on? Purple is voltage, black is ground. High speed doesn't use a resistor, but, there is a blower relay. Relay energized, only high speed voltage to blower motor. Relay not energized, continuity for lower speed voltage, lower speeds do use a resistor circuit.
