REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system, refer to Disabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System. See: Body and Frame Interior Moulding / Trim Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming Service and Repair
Negative battery cable.
Drain cooling system.
Raise vehicle.
Drain tube from heater case.
Heater hoses from heater core.
Lower vehicle.
Console (if equipped).
Right and left sound insulators.
Steering column opening filler.
Floor air outlet duct.
Heater core cover.
Heater core mounting clamps and remove heater core.
