Hi I have pretty much tried everything on my car. The issue is that sometimes the car stalls but only when the car is in gear if it is in neutral or park the car idles and accelerates normally. But once I put into gear it hesitates on acceleration then dies. The weird part is that it only does this sometimes. One day I get in and it works perfect then the next thing I know it stalls and hesitates on acceleration. So I have done the folowing I changed sparkplug wires, fuel filter, checked for engine codes none no light on, checked fuel pressurre it was at 40-45psi which is fine, the tcc solenoid is already unplugged, (i keep reading on forums that in this situation thats the thing to do is unplug it but its already unplugged) checked all vacum line ok, checked ignition module ok, took it to a shop they cant find out whats wrong, But when it works you accel and it does it normal if you slam gas it speed up normal. Sometimes it doesnt always stall it hesitates and hesitates then it like recovers and starts accelerating fine. The thing is I cannot trust car cause one day it will run fine then the next it stalls all day. But lately it does it almost all the time weather car is cold or at regular temp. Any suggestions on what problem could be I would really appreciate it thanks in advance. PS They also checked fuel injectors and they said they are fine. Gabe

Hello, have you tried buying fuel elsewhere? I did see some bulletins about stall issues, caused by the type fuel used. The cure was calibrations/ new prom. They were dated 1993, I can't tell if that's the issue? Just a thought.

That's part of the bulletin, not sure it is readable? That's from 1993, you may already have the up-dates, it has to do with the ecm. I can't tell if that's your problem or something else? I'm not positive if the up dates are still available?

You might call the dealership, ask for the service department, talk to them, sometimes they're very helpful. They can give you information on any updates and the costs.

The only reason I brought up the bulletin, it made me wonder about the fuel issue.
