Engine Mechanical problem
1985 Chevy Bel Air V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

car was running great, I parked it. Next day I went in the garage and the smell of gasoline was really strong. I checked and there was gas on the manifold
under the dist. And had run off the back of the motor. So I pulled the manifold and the no#7 cylinder was full of gasoline?

It's probably your carb. The needle and seat was probably stuck open or the float sunk and let gas continue to drip after shutting the car off. It may have been idling fast as well before you shut it off. Check that as the alcohol in todays fuel may have damaged it and it needs a rebuild. Make sure to take teh plugs out and crank the engine over to get the fuel out. Then wash the engine compartment down so as to not catch anything on fire.
