How do you remove the widow regulator from a 1955 chevy bel air?

The regularor comes out in one unit. You have to remove the door panel, under that there is a plastic covering. Onece the plastic is removed then there should be three nuts. They are spaced out to hole the channel and regualtor in place. Once you remove the nuts the regulator and channel will be loose. You have to menevoir it so it comes out the bottom side of the door. Sometimes this can be a pain especially it the window is not cranked down. So try to crank down the window before loosening the nuts.

I guess I did not mention that you have to take off the door panel, or someone do not look at answers. The inside door panel is clipped on once you have that done then there is a piece of plastic covering the access to the regulator. Try not to rip it too much, it keeps water from doing any damage inside the door.
