SO YESTERDAY I TURNED ON MY CAR AND I PUT THE CAR ON DRIVE AND MY BACK TIRE SKID AND THEN MY TRUCK MADE A LOUD CLUNK NOISE. AFTER THAT MY TRUCK WOLDNT MOVE. WHEN I PUT IT ON ON "D" BUT IF I PUT IT ON 1 OR 2 IT WILL MOVE BUT NOT ON 3 SO DOES THAT MEAN I HAVE TO REBUILD MY TRASMISSION NOW OR WHAT COULD IT BE?

Hello
Thanks for the donation

Do you notice if the OD (overdrive) light is on or flashing? This usually indicates an electrical problem with the tranny. A sensor would be suspected if this is the case and a reputable tranny shop can run a diagnostic on the vehicle for around $50. The diagnostic fee is much cheaper than paying out thousands of dollars in replacing the tranny with a new or rebuilt one.
