2003 Chevy Astro starter problem

When I turn the key to the" on" position on my 2003 astro the starter engages and will not stop. I have replaced the starter and the ignition switch on the key switch. Also have checked all fuses and breakers. Have checked all the wiring for melted or burned wires, but don't see any visable problem. Any help would be great.

Starter solenoid is "welded". I will get a better look at mine and give you more specific information.

Found the problem, the nuetral safety switch was shorted. Thanks for the help, phil
