When I turn the van for the first time in the day, the engine takes a long time to turn on. Usually a good 5 to 10 minutes of pushing the gas pedal and turning the ignition on. Once it I turn it on, it is good for the whole day, until the next day. Then I have to start over again. What is the problem with it?

Well I suspect a dirty fuel filter or bad fuel pressure regulator, but in order to be sure, you will have to check the fuel pressure. Also there is a good possibility that the throttle postition sensor is bad. So I will give you info on how to do a throttle body cleaning and how to check the fuel pressure.
