2000 Chevy Astro tune up

Taking the van on long trip and would like to replace
things that might go bad on the trip like the timing
and fan belt. Would like to do a full tune up that you would recomend and gas filter. What parts on the tune up would you recomend. Would it be good to run some kind of fule cleaner in the gas also.

Hi:
A general tune up iincludes plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel and air filter. However, a very wise mechanic, who was my teacher, always said if it's not broken, don't fix it. The 4.3L V6 is a great engine and if it's running good, you may want to leave well enough alone.
