The fan for the heater and defrost will not blow out. I am having trouble getting to the fuse box. Could it be that or the fan? The fan was making funny noises at different times. Also when we make a hard turn to park in parking lots we put the brakes on and they don't always work good. They seem to skip and I never know if I am going to stop or not, I am going under 5 miles per hour at the time. Thank you.

Well for your braking situation. U have hydro boost assited brakes that is aided by the power steering system. So if u r turning the steering wheel as u r steping on the brake pedal, u will loose braking efficiency & the steering will get stiff.

U might have a shorted blower motor & a burnt out blower motor resistor, they are located under the hood on the passenger side just behind the coolant recovery & washer tank!
