Engine Performance problem
1995 Chevy Astro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 250k miles
95 Astro with surging idle. The stuff I do know. This sometimes causes it to die when it swings back to the low idle. Fuel pressure idling 52psi. Key on eng. Off 58psi, Cleaned throttle body area and I.A.C, ohm values good. Replaced T.P.S., The eng is running very rich, and if I remove the P.C.V. Hose it smoothes out and runs better for a little while then starts again, sometimes smoothes out in just a few swings and runs fine. Timing is right on and tune up is relatively new GM, new fuel filter. Cleaned EGR. I removed the upper intake plenum and found small puddles of fuel in the low areas of the intake but unable to find any leaks while pressurizing the system or during cranking. At this point I'm thinking fuel pump or pressure reulator assy. Any help / ideas would be greatly appreciated. What have I missed?
