My van was running fine till the other day it would not start. I turned the key on and did not hear the fuel pump. I did hear the fuel pump relay clicking on and off about every 2 seconds. I replaced the relay and still had the same problem. There is a connection on the firewall that goes straight to the fuel pump. When I put power to that it runs fine. That is the only way I can get it to run.

I'd check the orange wire at the fuel pump relay, should be hot all the time. My info shows an oil pressure switch in the fuel pump circuit, once you crank it enough to bring up oil pressure, the switch closes and voltage goes to the pump. Even with the relay unplugged, the pump should run, if the o/p switch circuit is functional.
