The connector for the return hose snapped at the intake manifold the replacement is easy, but the threading from the old one is stuck in the manifold. I have tried a screw extractor but it is so corroded that it just enlarged the hole. Now I have no way to remove it. Any tips would help

I'd remove the manifold, so crap doesn't get into the cooling system. You could try a left handed drill bit, reversing drill. I'd probably have to try different things, see what will work. You might be able to find a tap the same size as internal threads, work the tap and see if the old thread pieces from the broken part, will break out?
