A few weeks back I got the "Check Side Lights" warning on display. When I checked my lights noticed that right xenon light is not working angel eyes as well. I purchased a new bulb from auto zone for the xenon light and replaced myself but still xenon light was not working. I still yet to replace the angel eyes bulb.

Most searches on the internet indicates that the "check side lights" is an indicator for the angel eyes. Not sure on my X5 it is not giving me an indicator for headlight as well. On the Display I see 2 arrows (left and right) but when I press right instrument check I am only able to see the "check side lights" and no other warning

Anyone has any input. Could my headlight issue be related to a fuse which I have not check yet. Not sure if each headlight has a separate fuse.

Yes, the headlights have a fuse. Start by checking that. Also, make sure the light socket is in good condition, not damaged or corroded.

I checked the fuse box in the glove compartment and there were no specific fuse for the Headlight... Only reference to Light Module with 3 fuses and all are ok.

I also checked for damaged or corrosion in light socket but it seemed to be ok.

I do notice some white accumulation on the headlight bulb when I did some testing by remove the bulb/socket from the headlight housing and keep cables connected... The white accumulation seemed to show when I turn the headlight on and it goes away within a minute.
