Check headlights error?

My old mechanic installed LED headlights on this vehicle listed above Truck Mountaineer, 4.0L FI SOHC. But it has the check headlamp error now and check high beam. Do I need some type of load resistor? What kind would be the easiest and best to install?

Hi,

The LED lights draw very little voltage. As a result, the vehicle thinks the bulbs are burned out. LOL

As far as a resister, yes, it is needed. I attached a picture below of what I would suggest. Please understand, we can't make recommendations on parts. However, I feel this would work for you. I believe this vehicle uses a 9005 bulb. Please confirm that.
