Check engine light came on and plug in check said CO2 sensor - what is average repair cost?
and how long is it safe to drive before repaired?

You can drive it just your fuel mileage will go way down. It depends on what is wrong with car it may be low fuel pressure causing the light for that sensor so until it's problem is found you can't give a quote
