Scanner code 67. Neutral/drive switch circuit open.

What does this mean and how do we correct so it will pass smog?

Hi,

Don't laugh, but was the vehicle in park/neutral and the AC off (both front and rear) when the code was found?

Also, could you let me know if there are any symptoms related? For example, will it start normally in park or neutral?

Let me know.

Joe

Hi,

Are there any symptoms? Is the vehicle doing anything that seems out of the ordinary?

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe

If it is running well, I would delete the code and see if it comes back. It could have been set in error.

If there are no symptoms, this is what I would try first. I wish I had a better answer, but that is where I would start.

Let me know if you have already done this or what you find.

Take care,

Joe
