Codes 7E8 and 7E9 ? What are they for?

Are you using an Autel scan tool or other generic tool? This is pretty common on these tools.

The supplier of the tool may be able to explain it better but these are sub menus of reading codes. In other words they are not valid powertrain codes but instead they are scan tool codes that are displayed on certain vehicles.

I would suggest stopping by a parts store and having them scan it to see if they come up with anything.

Do you have any other issues with the vehicle? Is it acting up at all or are these the only thing you are seeing?
