I bottomed out and hit the part that comes off the exhaust manifold. It is wrapped in some kind of metal mesh. There is clear damage and the check engine light is on.

You will have to get a scan done to see what code is set. It may be to do with the O2 sensor circuit if the exhaust is damaged, but get the scan done first and post the code here.
