Hello,

The C.E. Light was on in my vehicle and a local parts store checked it and the code was P2A01 signaling an O2 sensor issue.

The CE light was on for about 14 days and suddenly went out on 11/8/25. Should I still have a shop look at this or wait until the light comes back on.

Thanks,

Roosevelt.

I would clear the codes and wait until the light comes back on. This might be a glitch in the system or the car has traveled up a long hill, if the code comes back replace the oxygen sensor behind the catalytic converter and clear the code again which should fix the problem. This guide can help walk you though the repair
