Charging system issue it starts charging then stops?

Truck died and battery was dead, tested it and. Changed battery and advanced auto said alternator was bad. So I replaced that. It runs for about ten minutes the fan slows down and it over heats. Also testing the alternator again, it starts charging then stops.

Hello, It sounds like you got a defective alternator, when it says it is not charging lets do this test.

I put a new alternator and battery and new serpentine belt on it. It will run for a bit then stop charging
The fan slows down and it over heats. Then says check charging system
