Changed thermostat now car shaking violently

My thermostat was leaking from the bottom housing my boyfriend changed it but now the car shakes really bad when I start it haven't driven it yet to scared to it didn't do this before we changed the thermostat what could it be please help

HAVE HIM OR SOMEONE ELSE LOOK THE JOB OVER

A HOSE, VACUUM LINE, OR A WIRE MAY HAVE GOTTEN DISCONNECTED TO PERFORM THE JOB OR ACCIDENTALLY KNOCKED LOOSE, EVEN CONNECTED TO THE WRONG ITEM

INSURE YOUR COOLANT WAS REFILLED TO THE PROPER LEVEL TOO!

No it hasn't the only thing different then before we changed the thermostat is the crazy shaking

He's re-checking everything now hopefully it's just he forgot to re connect something like u said or connected it wrong

Let me know what you find. It could be a vacuum hose damaged or disconnected. I see no reason he would have removed plug wires. However, I question if the crank shaft sensor may have been damaged by coolant. Let me know what is found.

Thank you guys we were able to find the problem the gasket under the thing that say 4.0 (all I herd the cashier at oreilys say its something oil intake sorry don't know the name)was damaged so we replaced it and it's working great thank you for all the help

You're not having good luck. Tell me, does the starter engage and crank the engine? Also, do other electrical components work? Are the battery terminals clean and tight, free of corrosion?
