There was a warning in panel to change diesel fuel filter and we did it with new filter. During replacement we did not disconnect battery.

My problem is: the warning in panel is still there not disappear.
What shall we do to erase the warning light in panel.

Awaiting for your kind answer.

Thank you.

Hi,

Try this: Turn the key to the off position. Open the hood and disconnect the electrical connector to the filter housing. Start the engine, and then reconnect the connector. That should reset it.

Let me know if that helps.

Hello Joe,
Good day to you!

I am very thankful because of the help you have given me.
Simply, it works.
I followed exactly the instructions according to your email: With engine switch off, disconnect the electrical connection to the fuel filter then, start the engine and reconnect again the wires to the filter and yes the warning was gone, cleared.

Thank you very very much.
