I replaced the center carrier bearing and now there is a knocking coming from it. I had the bearing itself pressed on but not sure if the u-joint needs to be pressed on and if that is causing the noise?

Good afternoon.

If the bearing was pressed on correctly and the flange installed and torqued correctly, the only other thing is the u joint. Was that replaced as well?

It is possible that it is the issue. Did you return to the shop and have them recheck there work?

There are two more u joints as well. They will need to be checked.

No I have not, but will remove the drive shaft and have the u-joints machined on and then replace it as one piece and then I will let you know. Thanks
