Car won't run?

Loud knock, followed by gas engine stall. Electric motor has run on noise very fast sounding. Gas engine won't start. Car won't move and it drained the battery very quickly. Attaching jump resulted in the same fast electric motor sound from the electric motor, but the car won't run. I disconnected the electric motor to stop the run on and was towed home

Hello, do you have 320k miles on the same hybrid battery? The first thing I would check is the CAN system memory. Scanners are relatively cheap on Amazon for about $30. If there is virtually any issue with the hybrid battery the entire unit will have to be replaced.

Yes, I agree with CANNON1349, I would get a scanner to see if there are any codes next can you upload a short video of the problem noise so we can hear it? It sounds like the gas engine has had a major failure. I would inspect the engine block and look for holes, indicating a piston rod has let go. Please upload an image or short videos in your response
