Car will not roll, even in neutral?

Check to see if brakes are locked up front first then back. If fronts it may be bad brake hoses not allowing fluid back if rear may be parking brake applied. If all that is okay then have it scanned for codes for an ABS problem.

Found that gear selector on dash does not move when gear shift I moved from park.

Then check for a broken cable or linkage. Evidently there is a shifter problem with these and things deteriorate Dorman products (online) offer one that has aluminum parts instead of plastic. See pictures, also available at Napa.

I replaced the shift interlock with the metal one. Still have same problem, gear selector on dash doesn't move when I take it out of park.

Thinking problem with shift cable, but after all the rain we have had the car is setting in a very muddy lot, may be a couple days before we can either tow it to the house or get under it. Got to love spring in Michigan! Thanks for your help.
