I can put my car into gear without pressing the clutch and it doesn't grind. While it's in gear it sounds like everything is moving and RPM's go up and the miles per hour go up just a tad and the car's not moving at all it's almost as it stays in neutral but it's in gear.

When you shift without the clutch, does it grind at all or clunk into gear?

What you described sounds like something is either disconnected or broken with the transmission final drive. Do me a favor. I need you to check of there is anything damaged, disconnected, or not connected in the front axles (drive shafts). Note that everything may appear to be connected, but may not be.

Next, place it in gear and see if you can move the vehicle as if it was in neutral If you can, then we know something isn't connected.

I attached a pic below of the axle assemblies.

Let me know.
