Car wants to cut off but will not?

Every now and then my car wants to cut off, but will not. It started happening when the car is reverse, but now it does not matter if it is reverse or drive. A few times at a full stop it would not go into gear, even though I have it drive.

Yep, this will happen if you have a vacuum leak, or the throttle body needs to be serviced. Can I ask if you have any codes? if you have not run them we need to. This video will show you how.
