I put the exhaust manifold gaskets on car it was running fine. The next morning I was getting ready to take the car back to the owner I started the car and it cut off. So I first I checked the connecter for the camshaft sensor and it fall apart O's I tried to hook the wires back up I did about five times the Baber started so I wont be looking for the connecter found it, but then I do not know how to connect the three wire. You gays told me how to hook the wires so I did that. But car still would not start so I started checking the car and found that the fuel pump was not working. I changed the fuel pump and the car still would not start. What do I do? Help!

The next step is to connect a scanner to view live data. Look at the camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor to see if they are listed as their signals being received at the Engine Computer. If one signal is missing, you still should hear the hum of the fuel pump for one second when you turn on the ignition switch. If you do, the pump is okay. Both sensor signals are needed during cranking for the computer to turn the fuel pump on again.
