Hello, I have new spark plugs, wires and radiator installed before buying it. A few months ago I was having problems with my car overheating very bad. This was because I needed a new water pump and timing belt. I didn’t drive the car until I had the funds for the labor and parts. Weeks later I get someone to take me to an auto parts store to purchase antifreeze and the parts for the car. I start the car and the check engine light is no longer there and everything looks fine. I proceed to drive to the mechanic to try to get it there without the car overheating. As I’m going up a hill the car suddenly stops and the battery light and low oil light comes on and green liquid is leaking. The engine is also not turning over if I try to start the car it sounds like it’s trying to turn over but doesn’t. I never made it far enough to get near a mechanic and had no choice but to tow it back to my home which was closer. Not sure what else is wrong the car but I would like a second opinion as well before the mobile mechanic shows up.

Hello,

Okay, so this could be a multiple problem here. From what you have explained to me you could have a warped cylinder head, which caused coolant to leak in the cylinders. It sounds bad, but it should be nothing more than a head gasket change to fix everything. First, though, can you do me a favor and take out all of the spark plugs in your vehicle's engine and then try to crank the engine again. If your vehicle's engine is experiencing hydro-lock, then the coolant should be forced out of the spark plug holes and with the spark plugs reinstalled your engine should crank again. Please get back to us with how everything turns out and we can go from there.

Thanks,
Alex
