I accidentally hit the key while it was in ignition?

Now when I take the key out the car beeps and won’t lock. I manually locked it and the next morning the car was not working.

It must have broken something inside the ignition switch, and it is not turning off completely, which drains the battery down. I would get a new key/lock assembly from the dealer so they can preprogram it for you. Here are the instructions on how to change the part out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
