Car starts okay with jump start cable, but does not last long running. But if I want to start on its own it does not start. Lights on dashboard comes up, CD player is on, lights are all on and working, but as soon as I turn key to crank the engine sometime I hear ticking noise and slowly all light get dim and gone. Then again I move my key to ACC and ON I get all lights, cd player everything working fine. Earlier I thought it is battery so I tool battery for a check as it was under warranty, CTC replaced it and now it completely new battery. Also tries with shift lock and moving to neutral but still it does not work without jumpstart. Any idea what could be wrong?

Check battery cables for internal corrosion"high resistance", to do this place one probe of voltmeter on positive battery post and other probe on positive post on starter, turn key to start if voltage is less than voltage reading across battery terminals by.2 volts or more you have a voltage drop that is unacceptable. Also, check all cables positive and negative for proper security and are corrosion free, wire brushed or sanded clean, both ends of cables and all wires to and from battery.
