Sometimes the car will start right up and others it won't, if you jump it it will start it has a new battery and a new alternator. Usually if it sits over night it won't start, this morning I went out and it started right up 1/2 hour later it would not start. Help!

If all that is working you will have to perform a parastic draw test.

When you turn the key there is no sound as if the battery is weak, the lights and horn and everything work. Could it be something with the alarm system that is not allowing it to do anything at times?

There is a immobilizer light on the dash but the security only disables the fuel when it's engaged. Unless you have a aftermarket alarm system?

Thank you. Had to jump the car again today. Had to reb up the car that we were using to jump the Kia with high and for a few minutes before the car would start. The battery charger I tried using said the battery was at 100% before We tried to jump the Kia. Could there be something wrong with the chip in the key and some how when it is jumped it over rides the chip? I don't think it's the starter because it wouldn't have started when jumped!

The immobilizer doesn't disable the starter it only disables the fuel. Sounds like the battery is being drained.
