Car starts on all gears?

Hi, Kia Sportage starts on all gears. Also when put the car on Park, it rolls down, meaning it’s like car is on neutral position. But when reading the gear box with scan tool, it does not report the fault description.

Please can you help me out with further information to repair this?

Did you do a CAN scan? It could be the smart key module. But we should look at the gear range sensor at the top of the transmission where the shift cable connects.

Also, I would watch the cable operation as you have a helper run the gear shifter through the gears. Here is the location so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes

Please advise if this what makes Kia to start on all gears, let me know what other parts or sensors to check for malfunctioning.
When put on part, example, car is on a light hill and you put the gear shifter on park, it would roll down most often.

This is fault. I have attached image of the select range switch below.

Did you have a helper move the gear shifter to see if the cable is working correctly?
