I’ve replaced the starter 3 times in a month.

Hi,

When you replace them, are you getting a remanufactured starter? Is it the same brand each time? How does the starter fail? For example, is it the motor itself or is there an issue with the Bendix and engagement?

Here are directions for replacement. I'm adding them simply because I was wondering if you are reinstalling the starter cover plate. See directions and pic.

Let me know. Also, I have had issues in the past with remanufactured parts. If you are getting the same brand each time, it may be a good idea to try a different brand.

Let me know.
