Car stalled on me driving home acted like it lost power right before the engine died, after letting sit it started right up had plenty of power checked the converter it seemed to be plugged did a quick fix by gutting the converter to get the car home, car ran fine so we thought but after driving it a little ways it stalled again tried to restart it acted like it was not getting gas checked fuel pump and filter they were fine, replaced the muffler, coil and cap and rotor, drove car for 135 miles then in middle of traffic stalls again 45 min later started right up drove real strong as if nothing was wrong. What else could be the problem

Has your ignition switch been replaced Sheila?

I think the 99-00 Hondas were recalled for faulty ignition swtiches which caused the cars to unexpectedly shut off while driving.

Next time you are in the car, start it up and then, jiggle the key without turning it. If the car shuts off, then it is your ignition switch.

Try this next time when you start the car after it shuts off on you, that's when the trick works best
