It idles fine in park and revs up when hitting gas.

Hello,

This sounds like you could have a clogged fuel filter. The fuel filter on your vehicle is part of the Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module located in the fuel tank. In the diagrams down below I have included the instructions from the vehicle manufacturer for the removal and installation of the fuel filter for your vehicle. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex

If it’s the fuel filter than why would only bog down and stall out when it’s in drive? It starts right up and revs up as high as I want it to when I give it gas.

Hello again,

That's a good point. So this could be a couple of other things as well, like the fuel pressure sensor or the fuel injection fuel rail fuel pressure sensor. In the diagrams down below I have included the description of the fuel system for your vehicle. Please go through this guide, apply it to your situation, and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
