I took my car to get a simple oil change, and now it sounds like it's revving high, kind of reminds me of an airplane. My tire sensors are working, and I feel like they did something to my car. Please help.

Hi,

There is a chance a vacuum leak is present. A hose may have been disconnected or damaged when the work was being done.

How high is the engine idling? If it has a tachometer, at what RPM does it idle?

If you want, open the hood and check for disconnected vacuum hoses and make sure the air filter box and air inlet tube is fully attached.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

Make sure nothing with the air intake tube from the air filter was left disconnected. Also, if you could, record it and upload it for me to hear. I may recognize the problem.

Take care,

Joe
