When stopped at a light the car shudders for two to three seconds, otherwise engine performs well.

Hello, I am Danny.

Have you performed the regular performed maintenance? With this car being turbo oil changes really do make a difference. Engine oil still does control turbo performance. Is the drain back into sump clogged? It does make a huge difference. Oil changes make hugh differences including CKP and CMP readings. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any other questions. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Thanks Danny. I forgot to ask if changing the spark plugs might be the answer. I bought car used with 36,000, now has 50,000. Thanks again.

Thanks Danny, one additional question on 2012 Juke, on car shudders one to two seconds at stop light or while idling in park. Could it be bad spark plug(s) or injector or wires. I filled it with premium gas, which seemed to reduce the shudder. Otherwise car runs fine, gets around 23 mpg, with a lot of short trip driving. Thanks for your help.

Hello again,

If you bought the car used and it has 50,000 miles now I would guess they are original. It would not be a bad idea to change them and see if it gets rid of the stutter. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi again, one more item to add on that shudder in my engine. It only occurs when the A/C is on. Thanks again.

Hello again.

Can you upload a video from your phone/smartphone showing the condition? Vibration will always be noticed with the A/C system activated. If it is out of the ordinary then that would be a problem. Hope this helps and let me know if you can. Thanks again for using 2CarPros. Will await your response.

Hi, thanks again for the reply. But the vibration is only noticeable not by sight, but from sensation. When stopped at a light, only lasts for two seconds, and only with the A/C on. Could it be when the compressor kicks on and off?
